NURS 4600: Synthesis in Professional Practice (3)

This course focuses on the clinical application of the principles of professional nursing practice. Students will enact the five roles of the professional nurse with emphasis on the incorporation of caring behaviors and ethical decision-making. The purpose of the course is to assist students to identify their current level of nursing skill acquisition and facilitate their development of expertise while providing culturally competent care to individuals, families, and communities. Pre-requisites: NURS 3110, NURS 3330, NURS 3200, NURS 3210, NURS 3410, NURS 4410 Co-requisite: NURS 4520
