BUSA 2810: Legal Environment of Business (3)

An overview of the legal system with special emphasis on basic contracts; basic laws of real property and personal property; constitutional law; torts; intellectual property; the court system and alternatives to this system; ethics; and basic employment law. Reference is made to current legislation affecting business. A student may not receive credit for both BUSA 2810 and BUSA 3800. Pre-requisite: ENGL 1102
