The objective of the course is to equip students further with advanced communicative skills in speaking, reading, listening and writing. The course is largely content-based and task-based. Students will enhance their ability to advance their own opinions, discuss and share thoughts and ideas in both interpersonal and public communication. Along with oral and aural practices, the class works on controlled but fun exercises to strengthen students' control of grammar. In addition to the text resources, viewing a Korean reality show outside class and bi-weekly journaling based on the clip will further reinforce integrated practices of comprehension and production skills. Students will develop their expressive abilities through the process of writing, drafting, revising, and editing. Watching a recent Korean reality program will provide an insight into the latest Korean culture and an opportunity to easily learn the colloquial language. Pre-requisite: KREN 3001 with a grade of D or better
