Lecture: 0, Lab: 0, Other: 0

A continuation of MUSC 2650 focusing on public performance of standard solo percussion repertoire. Admission to upper division percussion instruction is contingent upon 1) the accumulation of a minimum of four hours credit in MUSC 2650 and 2) satisfactory completion of a division jury before a panel of music faculty. A combination of individual and group instruction provides preparation for public performance. Each student who is enrolled for applied principal percussion instruction must concurrently participate fully in an NGCSU instrumental performance ensemble, regardless of whether the student chooses to enroll for ensemble credit. A student may accumulate a maximum of 16 credit hours in this course.
