MUSC 2650: Applied Principal Percussion (2)

Available to qualified students by audition, this course offers performance-based instruction focusing on the developing of artistic ability. Emphasis is given to the development of percussion performance abilities through the study of standard repertoire. A combination of individual and group instruction provides preparation for public performance. Each student who is enrolled for applied principal music instruction must concurrently participate fully in an NGCSU instrumental performance ensemble, regardless of whether the student chooses to enroll for ensemble credit. A student may accumulate a maximum of 8 credit hours in this course.
