MUSC 4620: Applied Principal Piano Instruction (2)

Lecture: 0, Lab: 0, Other: 0

A continuation of MUSC 2620 focusing on public performance of standard solo piano repertoire. Admission to upper division piano instruction is contingent upon 1) the accumulation of a minimum of four hours credit in MUSC 2620 and 2) satisfactory completion of a division jury before a panel of music faculty. A combination of individual and group instruction provides preparation for public performance. Each student who is enrolled for applied principle piano instruction must concurrently participate fully in a related NGCSU performance ensemble, regardless of whether the student chooses to enroll for ensemble credit. A student may accumulate a maximum of 16 credit hours in this course.
