MUSC 2620: Applied Principal Piano Instruction (2)

Available to qualified students by audition, this course offers performance-based instruction focusing on the development of artistic ability. Emphasis is given to the development of piano performance abilities through the study of standard repertoire. A combination of individual and group instruction provides preparation for public performance. Each student who is enrolled for applied principal piano instruction must concurrently participate fully in a related NGCSU performance ensemble, regardless of whether the student chooses to enroll for ensemble credit. A student may accumulate a maximum of 8 credit hours in this course.
