MUED 3240: World Music Survey and Methods (2)

This course is a survey of world music according to large geographic areas; the following areas will be addressed (West Africa, Caribbean, Brazil, India, and Southeast Asia). The survey portion of the course will emphasize breadth versus depth. Additionally, methods to incorporate music from other cultures will be addressed within this course. Pre-requisite: MUSC 1002
