MUSC 1002: Music Theory II: Diatonic Harmonic Progression (3)

A continuation of Music Theory I, focusing on applications of the circle-of-fifths theory of diatonic harmonic progression. Emphasis is given to the development of the ability to integrate the various roles of listener, analyst, educator, performer, and composer, as they relate to the assimilation of theoretical knowledge. The class format for this course (and subsequent courses) follows the model set forth in Music Theory I. Pre-requisite: MUSC 1001
