MILS 4000: Developing Adaptive Leaders (2)

MILS 4000 develops student proficiency in planning, executing, and assessing complex operations, functioning as a member of a staff, and providing performance feedback to subordinates. Students are given situational opportunities to assess risk, make ethical decisions and lead fellow ROTC cadets. Lessons on military justice and personnel processes prepare students to make the transition to becoming Army officers. During the MS IV year, students will lead cadets at lower levels. Both classroom and battalion leadership experiences are designed to prepare students for their first unit of assignment. Students will identify responsibilities of key staff, coordinate staff roles, and use battalion operations situations to teach, train and develop subordinates. Pre-requisites: MILS 1000, MILS 1100, MILS 2000, MILS 2100, MILS 3000 and MILS 3100
