Immunization Certification Requirement

A North Georgia immunization certification form, which is a Board of Regents' policy, is required of all new students. If the applicant attended the university in the past either as an undergraduate or graduate student, proof of a tetanus booster within the last ten years is the only immunization requirement.

Totally online program applicants are required to submit a North Georgia immunization certification form and should check the exemption for distance learning. If at any time, students choose to take a class on any designated campus site, they are required to submit complete immunization documentation according to the Board of Regents' policy.

Several health professional related graduate programs at North Georgia require separate immunization forms with additional immunization requirements beyond what is required by the university. Please check the program of interest general admission requirements section of this bulletin or contact the Office of Graduate Admissions, 706-864-1543, or e-mail grads@northgeorgia.edu.
