An advanced language course designed to increase the student's overall mastery of the language. This course will follow a holistic approach that encourages the balanced development of all skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, with sound knowledge of advanced grammatical principles. Class discussions and activities as well as written assignments will be based on topics of current interest researched by students, literary selections, films, and the press. Pre-requisite: SPAN 2001 or SPAN 2002
