The purpose of this course is to introduce the advanced student of politics to the factors that led to South Korea's adoption of democracy, as well as the post-Cold War foreign policy initiatives of South Korea that were a result of the new found legitimacy of the democratic government. Pre-requisite: POLS 1101 or POLS 1101H
