This course reviews fundamental nursing concepts to enable the Licensed Practical Nurse to matriculate into the second year of the ASN program. Clinical nursing skills are validated as the student is caring for persons holistically in an attentive and comforting manner. Health promotion and disease prevention utilizing teaching and learning methods are emphasized. Students will be expected to apply concepts of leadership, resource management and information literacy as they discover the role of the RN. Pre-requisite: Admission to the ASN Program
