Open to all qualified students by audition. The NGCSU Singers is the university's premier choral ensemble, presenting performances of various styles of vocal music both on and off campus throughout the academic year. Ensemble members are required to participate in rehearsals and performances beyond the stated regular class time, including annual tours which normally occur during spring break. Musicals are presented by the NGCSU Singers and Friends" every other year with the following rotational format being used: year 1 - spring tour throughout the Southeast and a musical; year 2 - spring tour throughout the United States; year 3 - spring tour throughout the Southeast and a musical; year 4 - spring tour overseas."
