MGED 3130: Teaching Content to Diverse Learners (3)

This course examines the principles, theories and research pertaining to recognition of diverse learners and the process of designing curriculum for differentiation and implementing best practices of instructional pedagogy. A primary focus of this course will be differentiation of instruction, content, process and product to ensure the optimum learning experience for all students. Students in this course will examine available resources, both community and school-based and develop a proposal for communicating this information to parents and other stakeholders. Pre-requisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program
