MGED 3015: Internship 1: Culture & Practice in Middle Level Schools (2)

This course exposes preservice teachers to a number of diverse middle level schools and introduces them to distinct school cultures. Through observations of various schools, preservice teachers will be introduced to diversity and the range of school differences or commonalities. Preservice teachers will reflect on their observations, and consider the implications of school structure/organization as it impacts culture, pedagogy, and student learning. Pre-requisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program Co-requisite: MGED 3010
