MATH 3150: Problem Solving & Connections (3)

This course designed for elementary pre-service teachers focuses on recognizing, using, and learning about mathematics in the context of real-world situations and problems. Deliberate connections to the sciences, social sciences, and fine arts incorporate mathematical topics drawn from probability, discrete mathematics, algebraic and non-algebraic functions, and data analysis. Pre-requisite: MATH 2008 or MATH 3100 with a grade of C or better
