LLIT 3100: Leadership and Communication across World Cultures (3)

The course will study literary texts and films from various cultures to investigate enduring models of leadership by individuals and groups, paying particular attention to the communicative needs of leadership. The study of leadership as opportunity, challenge, and responsibility in different political and cultural environments will sensitize students to the complexities of communicating visionary leadership in different situations. A series of speeches and position papers will engage students in writing- and oral-intensive activities.
