HIST 2724: Religion in U.S. History (3)

This class will examine the role religion has played in American History. We will look at some of the major religions practiced by Americans, as well as some of the lesser known religious movements, to evaluate how they shaped peoples' lives, affected their political and social attitudes, and we will evaluate the ways religion has brought Americans together as well as caused conflict among them.
