A conversation-based approach to developing and utilizing basic language patterns and to acquiring and utilizing basic vocabulary. Much of the speaking is based on common communication situations. Language laboratory assignments. This is a non-sequential course primarily for students whose programs of study require 10 hours or less of a foreign language. Not accepted as a prerequisite for GRMN 2001 or 2002. Class conducted in German. Pre-requisite: GRMN 1001
