GEOG 1111: Introduction to Physical Geography (3)

A study of the natural systems that shape our physical environment and the resultant spatial patterns discernable on Earth's surface. The course explores atmospheric processes, climate, hydrology, distribution of soils and life forms, land-forming processes, and the distribution and characteristics of certain recognized landform types. This course along with its laboratory course, GEOG 1111L, may be used to fulfill part of the non-science major requirement in Core Area D.
