FARS 2001: Intermediate Farsi I (3)

This course will continue in building on the already acquired skills form FARS 1002, towards the establishment of a firm foundation of basic sentence structures, plurals, verb conjugations: including the present and its two forms the jussive and the subjunctive. There will be added stress placed upon the acquisition of practical vocabulary, which is relevant to day-to-day life in the Persian/Farsi-speaking world. An accent will also be placed upon listening-comprehension and basic speaking skills that will include dialogues, listening exercises, reading of texts and regular dictations. Pre-requisite: FARS 1002
