An introduction to various techniques in client- and server- side scripting; the topics include dynamic web pages, CGI, interpreted vs. compiled code and server-side includes. The course also covers recent trends in world wide web standards electronic commerce applications and web services. It may cover the setup of web servers, and web-based database applications. The course requires a substantial amount of programming. Pre-requisite: CSCI 1302
