An introductory course to methods of information retrieval, processing and presentation. It provides an overview of computer hardware and application software used for on-line search, word-processing, electronic mail and messaging, as well as tools for managing content in various formats. The course emphasizes analytical thinking, and teaches problem solving skills through an introduction to basic programming structures such as selection and loops.
