An examination of the evolution of terrorism and political violence with emphasis on the new dimensions of terrorism and the risks to U.S. national security interests. Topics covered will include: weapons of mass destruction, information-based terrorism, homeland defense, and terrorism as a transnational phenomenon. Pre-requisite: CRJU 1100
