The course includes an overview of management and administration in criminal justice agencies. The course examines organizational structure, communication, leadership, motivation, employee evaluation and supervision as well as external environmental demands and situations. There is an emphasis on the role of the criminal justice administrator in policy formulation and program development. Pre-requisite: CRJU 1100
