BIOL 4500: Neuroimmunology (4)

An interdisciplinary study of Immunology and Neuroscience focusing on the interrelationship between the immune system and neurological functions. Topics will include current concepts in biological ethics, neuroanatomy, developmental biology, cellular biology, and molecular biology, neuropsychopharmacology and behavioral neuroscience. Data collection and analysis will be emphasized. Students will also participate in the evaluation and understanding of current primary literature. This course contains a lab. Pre-requisites: BIOL 1107K, BIOL 1108K and permission of the instructor
