ART 4120: Drawing from Cadavers (3)

An advanced studio course that introduces students to drawing human anatomy. Students will study human anatomy through textbook readings, three-dimensional anatomical models, computer programs, and visits to the NGCSU Gross Anatomy Lab. Students will spend no fewer than 30 hours drawing directly from dissected human cadavers. This course fulfills a requirement in the scientific illustration program, but is open to all advanced drawing students.
