ARAB 1001: Beginning Arabic (3)

This is an introductory course for students with no previous knowledge of the Arabic language. This course will cover fundamental concepts of Modern Standard Arabic, including the alphabet, diacritical marking, symbols and rules of correct recitation. Emphasis is on speaking and understanding with some attention to reading and writing.
