Required of those academic assistance students whose performance on placement tests indicates the need for at least one semester of remediation. This course offers instruction in number systems, fundamental operations, polynomials, factoring, linear equations and inequalities, quadratic equations, system of equations, exponents, graphs and the equation of a line, and verbal problems.
