A course intended to give the student experience with applications of the functions, concepts, and methods necessary for success in calculus. Topics include functions and graphs; parametric curves; linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions; right triangle trigonometry; trigonometric identities and equations; oblique triangles, complex numbers; and sequences and series.
