All baccalaureate programs at North Georgia have as a requirement the satisfactory completion of at least 60 semester credit hours comprising the six areas of the core curriculum. Under the direction of the academic advisor and subject to approval by the Visual Arts Department Head, the student will select a concentration in a specific area of visual arts, a minor in art history, or a minor in another discipline suited particularly to the student's academic needs.
Other Requirements
Military Science (applicable to members of the North Georgia Corps of Cadets)
U.S. & Georgia Constitution and History requirements
Regents' Skills Test or exemption (must be taken during the first semester.)
*Completion of a minimum of 39 total hours at the 3000 - 4000 level, including a minimum of 21 hours at the 3000-4000 level courses in the major is required.
