Current Status
North Georgia College & State University is one of only six senior universities in the United States classified as a senior military college by the United States Department of the Army. In accordance with the criteria for military colleges, North Georgia requires that
- all members of the Corps wear the distinctive Army uniform and participate in the military program at the university;
- members of the Corps abide by regulations similar to those maintained by the service academies. These regulations establish high standards for personal conduct and appearance, protect the rights of each Cadet and engender a strong sense of personal responsibility and self-discipline.
