ENGL 3330: Indian Literature (3)
Lecture: 3, Lab: 0, Other: 0
This course examines how Indian authors represent Indian cultures and experiences across time and place. This is not to say, however, that these are monolithic representations. Rather, we will analyze texts by men and women from several different areas of India. Additionally, we will read appropriate works of theory and criticism and analyze how these theories can be applied to the primary texts for the course. Pre-requisites: ENGL 1101 and ENGL 1102 as well as a 2100-level literature survey course.
