Teacher Licensure
Teacher education graduates apply for certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. North Georgia College & State University prepares students for licensure through approved programs in P-5 early education/special education, middle grades education 4-8, art education, health and physical education, music education, and secondary education (biology, chemistry, English, French, mathematics, and history).
