International Students

International students are encouraged to attend North Georgia and should complete the International Application for Graduate Admission. Prospective students are advised to consult with the Office of Graduate Admissions, e-mail grads@northgeorgia.edu, for the most recent requirements regarding financial statements, I-20 and visa forms, resident status, health insurance requirements, scores on English proficiency tests, and employment restrictions.

International applicants whose native language is not English must submit TOEFL or IELTS scores. Minimum acceptable scores on the TOEFL are 550 on the paper version; 213 on the computer version; 79 on the Internet version; or 6.5 on the IELTS. This requirement is waived for international students who have received a degree from a regionally-accredited institution in the U.S. or from institutions in countries where English is the primary language.
