Teachers in this course will explore the learning characteristics and needs of diverse student populations. Teachers will examine the social, cultural, and educational factors influencing the provision of successful learning opportunities for diverse students. The course will require that teachers demonstrate the ability to plan, implement, and effectively evaluate differentiated instruction, as well as provide support for a variety of instructional needs. Pre-requisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program
