EDUC 5104: Teaching Diverse Learners (3)

This course is an introduction to the social, cultural, economic, gender, legal, exceptionalities, and other factors influencing the provision of successful learning opportunities for diverse students. Graduate students will examine both current trends and historical foundations regarding these factors, especially as they impact the selection and implementation of curricula. Students will also integrate curricular, assessment, and management skills as they support learning for diverse populations. Pre-requisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program
